About the Englhard Group

The Englhard group is a family business headquartered in Ammerthal (Amberg-Sulzbach district) and, since its founding in 1966 as a one-man operation, has stood for regional construction activity. Its business segments include civil engineering, road construction and structural engineering, which are provided primarily for public clients. The range of services is complemented by a precast concrete plant, an asphalt construction business, a recycling yard in Amberg for the reprocessing of waste and demolition products, and a crushed stone works in Götzendorf (municipality of Illschwang), where dolomite rock has been quarried for over 35 years. In addition, the company maintains four Liebherr mobile cranes for different load capacities and lifting heights and operates a modernized fleet, whose green trucks with yellow lettering are known far beyond the district boundaries. From what was once a one-man operation, the workforce has grown to more than 250 employees; in 2019 the administration building at the Ammerthal site was newly built.
