About Enpower Greentech

Enpower Greentech develops and manufactures next-generation battery cells: Semi-Solid-State (SWIFT), Quasi-Solid-State with lithium-metal anode (FLEET) and All-Solid-State batteries with sulfide electrolyte (KOSMOS). Energy densities reach up to 403 Wh/kg (SWIFT), 525 Wh/kg (FLEET) and over 400 Wh/kg for ASSB, depending on the platform. Founded in 2012 by Dr. Sam Dai and Dr. Che Yong – both postdoctoral researchers under Nobel laureate Dr. John B. Goodenough – the company employs more than 500 people worldwide in the USA, China, Japan and Germany. Production takes place on highly automated production lines in Ann Arbor (USA) and Beijing (China); a production capacity of over 1 GWh is planned by 2030. Around 3 million solid-state cells have already been shipped, including as primary battery partner in SoftBank's HAPS program. Customers come from aerospace, robotics, marine, commercial vehicles and defense; Enpower Greentech GmbH in Karlsruhe serves the European market.

Cell chemistries & platforms

SWIFT

Semi-Solid-State batteries

Aviation-grade platform for industrial drones, eVTOL and heavy-lift drones with up to 403 Wh/kg cell energy density and series production.

FLEET

Quasi-solid-state batteries with lithium-metal anode

For operation down to -60 °C in the stratosphere, e.g. pseudo-satellites and high-altitude drones, with up to 525 Wh/kg.

KOSMOS

All-Solid-State batteries (sulfide electrolyte, lithium-metal anode)

Platform designed for maximum safety and performance, breaking through the ASSB barrier of 400 Wh/kg.

Si-C

Silicon-carbon anode material

Anode technology with an optimal power-to-weight ratio and fast-charging capability, among others for electric motorcycles.
