About ENSY AG
ENSY AG, based in Sufers in the canton of Graubünden, is a Swiss specialist in drinking water power plants and decentralised energy systems. The company plans and implements turnkey small hydropower plants that use the existing drinking water network for power generation, keeping construction effort low through the use of standard components and Pelton turbines. The plants are offered at a fixed price and are SVGW-certified; all operating data is monitored in real time via an online portal. More than 25 plants have been feeding energy into the power grid around the clock for over ten years, with a total installed capacity of over 250 kW and more than 6.7 million kWh of electricity generated. Customers are primarily municipalities and water supply utilities, including Rhäzüns, Landarenca and Grüsch. In addition to the potential analysis with an online calculator, ENSY AG offers municipalities a guide to project implementation as well as support in applying for federal investment contributions.
