Who we are
Enyra RE is a Munich-based startup specializing in the reuse of batteries from electric vehicles as stationary second-life energy storage systems. The team of engineers and industrial engineers develops the interface that turns retired EV batteries into usable storage systems for the energy transition. Starting from prototype status, the systems are further developed close to their application and tested early under real conditions. A first field test is running at a Montessori school, where the use of second-life battery storage systems is being trialed in real operation. Enyra is part of Batch 15 of the HM SCE Incubation, the startup program of Munich University of Applied Sciences, where it is working on transferring the technology into a market-ready product and on the structured scaling of the company. The focus areas include technology development, production and economic viability, which are considered together from the outset.
