EP:Roder is an owner-managed electrical specialty store in Altena (North Rhine-Westphalia) that has existed since 1961. Founded as Radio- und Fernsehtechnik Roder by Heinz Roder in a converted garage extension in Altena-Evingsen, the business is today run by Helmar Roder (master radio and television technician and information electronics technician) and his wife Susanne Roder. The product range includes consumer electronics and TV/audio, household and kitchen appliances, computers and gaming equipment, network and telephone system technology, and security technology. In addition to sales, the company offers its own services: electrical installation according to VDE guidelines, planning and installation of telephone systems for companies with up to about 50 employees, photovoltaics, kitchen planning, as well as delivery, installation, programming and instruction for new appliances. Repairs and maintenance are carried out in the in-house workshop or at the customer's premises. The store is a member of the EP:Verbundgruppe (ElectronicPartner) and serves customers from Altena, Nachrodt, Hemer, Iserlohn and Neuenrade.
