About Ephrem

Ephrem is a French Manufacture founded in 1975 that produces wood-fired ovens with a thermal mass storage core, traditionally known as pizza or bread ovens. The company manufactures ovens in Villeneuve (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence) for private customers, chefs and artisan bakers. Every oven component is made from fire-clay-based concrete: volcanic tuff (Pouzzolane) from the Ardèche is used for the domestic ovens, and refractory clay (Chamotte) from Aquitaine for the professional and bakery ovens. The components are air-dried without a high-temperature firing process. Doors are made of steel, facades partly of cast iron with double doors. The product range includes DIY kits (e.g. L'Authentique Pizzaiolo, Le Gastronome, Le Carré), fixed professional ovens as well as rotating hearth ovens such as Le Loule and the Le Flambeur model series including the Flambeur Pro 120. The ovens are delivered with a 5-year warranty; a 10-year warranty applies to bakery ovens. Services include home delivery, customer service and instalment payment in three instalments free of charge.
