EPIC & I GmbH was founded in spring 2021 by Florian Höhenberger and sees itself as an interface between consulting and implementation for manufacturing companies. Its service portfolio includes process optimization based on lean principles, the construction of custom workstations and production equipment, automation and special machine engineering, conversions and relocations of production systems, digitalization, as well as training and workshops such as the Lean Factory Game. For workstations, the MayTec aluminum profile system is preferred; in addition, standard components from renowned manufacturers are modified on a project-specific basis. As a general contractor, EPIC & I GmbH manages projects from analysis and design through to implementation and, as the central contracting party, assumes liability and warranty; specialized services such as design, PLC programming or electrical engineering are covered through a partner network. Since August 2024, the company has operated a flexible industrial hall in Landsberg am Lech with a workshop, storage spaces and capacity for prototype construction, pilot series, repairs, conversions as well as test runs and simulation of production processes. The main site with office is located in Gilching near Munich; the main activities focus on Munich, Augsburg, Starnberg, Upper Bavaria and Swabia.
