About ept Services
ept Services GmbH (electrical power technology) plans, designs, installs and commissions electrical power supply systems including their infrastructure. At its administrative headquarters in Hamburg, the company manufactures low-voltage switchgear as well as protection and control cabinets – among other things as a licensee for ABB Tri-Line and Rittal – and complements these with secondary equipment for medium-voltage switchgear. Its own workshop also produces custom constructions such as transformer rail tracks, cable guide racks and standard-compliant 10- to 40-foot container transformer stations. The range of services also includes the installation of switchgear, transformers and cable systems, protection testing and switchgear diagnostics on cables, motors and transformers (including Tan-Delta, partial discharge up to 66 kV, oil analysis, SFRA), network calculations with Siemens SINCAL, as well as assembly and commissioning of substation bays for 100, 110, 380 and 400 kV.
