ERBACHER the food family is a family business founded in 1941, now in its third generation, headquartered in Kleinheubach in Lower Franconia. The company develops and produces in three nutrition segments: agricultural products (feed lime and mineral feed for livestock farming), pet food (brand Josera) and foods for humans, in particular spelt-based mueslis and snacks, manufactured using extrusion technology. More than 350 individual components are used in the feed and pet food production, predominantly sourced from Europe. Quality assurance is carried out in the company's own testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO 17025, which performs food, feed and water analyses and monitors all production stages. In 2025, a 40,000 m² pet food factory with automated production lines, a research laboratory and an AI-supported logistics system was opened in Nowy Tomyśl (Poland). Products are delivered to almost 90 countries; the company employs more than 1,000 people.

The company operates a testing laboratory accredited to DIN EN ISO 17025, in which food, feed and water analyses are performed and all production stages are monitored.
