About ERC Additiv
ERC Additiv GmbH is a manufacturer specializing in the development, production (blending) and filling of additives for fuels, heating oils and lubricants. The product range comprises around 200 to 285 products and approximately 25 brands, including heating oil, diesel, petrol, autogas, alternative fuel, lubricant, service and AdBlue additives. Production takes place exclusively in Germany at the Wahlstedt plant, where for over 50 years — and since 1993 under ERC — active ingredients have been combined to customer formulations and filled into containers from 50 ml up to tanker trucks. Capacity is approximately 20,000 to 30,000 tonnes of additives per year, equivalent to 10 million litres of concentrated active ingredient; around 6 million m³ of standard heating oil are treated with additives annually to produce premium heating oil. The value chain covers formulation, raw material storage, mixing, quality control, filling, standards-compliant labelling as well as hazardous-materials-safe picking and worldwide distribution. Customers include petroleum retailers, refineries, tank farms, filling stations, workshops as well as commercial and fleet operators. ERC Additiv GmbH is part of the ERC Group with over 150 employees and is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
