About Ergo.fol Norflex®
Ergo.fol Norflex® has been producing biaxially oriented polystyrene film for almost 100 years, making it one of the world's first producers of this material. Extrusion technology developed in-house forms the basis for an extensive range of films in various thicknesses and grades, including Interleaver separator films for cut food products, Ergo.Win window film for envelopes, polystyrene cable yarns in diameters from 0,079 mm to 1,1 mm, and special films for special applications. The material used is free of plasticizers, highly transparent or matte, food-safe, and available in thicknesses from 26 to 100 µm. In addition to film production, the company offers deep drawing, laminating, printing, and thermal impulse welding, and supports customers from the initial idea through to production readiness. The products are used in the packaging, paper, cable, and floristry industries as well as for forming applications such as cups, trays, and blisters. Production takes place at the plant in Nordenham; the company is headquartered in Ingolstadt; deliveries are made worldwide.
