About ERMAFA

ERMAFA Sondermaschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH develops and manufactures custom machines and complete systems in Chemnitz for the rubber, elastomer and plastics processing industries. The portfolio includes mixing mills, internal mixers, calenders, reactor extruders, rotary presses, fully automated tire recycling systems as well as special machinery and automation solutions with industrial robots and PLC controls. The value chain ranges from engineering and design (Creo, EPLAN P8) through mechanical manufacturing on 3,600 m² of machining floor space, control cabinet construction, assembly and commissioning to maintenance, retrofit and spare parts service over the entire life cycle. Materials processed and processable include rubber, elastomers, silicone and PVC. Customers come from tire manufacturing, the plastics industry, the automotive industry, recycling, safety and defense technology, and machine tool manufacturing. The company, with more than 90 employees at two Chemnitz sites, is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and looks back on a corporate history that began in 1837 with the founding of the Maschinenfabrik C. G. Haubold jr.
