ERMAFA AUERBACH, formerly AUERBACH Maschinenfabrik GmbH, specializes in the development and production of CNC-controlled deep-hole drilling and bed milling machines and can look back on more than 80 years of tradition in mechanical engineering. The portfolio also includes special machines built to customer requirements, complete assemblies of subassemblies, and complex machining of small and medium series, including deep drilling and milling work on customer workpieces as contract manufacturing. Following the acquisition by ERMAFA in 2014, the production program is continued in Ellefeld and Chemnitz on a total of approx. 11,200 m² of production and assembly floor space. In addition, the company offers after-sales service, retrofitting, maintenance and repair for the AUERBACH, IXION, DEPO and WMW-Heckert brands. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, tool and die making, aerospace, gas and oil industry, energy and chemical engineering, automotive, defense industry and medical technology.
