The Ernst Friedrich Heuer GmbH is a family-owned company founded in 1961, headquartered in Schlierbach near Göppingen. The company, with around 50 employees, is active as a manufacturer of precision sheet metal working as well as versatile, robust aluminium roller shutters. The production program of sheet metal bending technology comprises housings, covers, claddings, panels and bent profiles to customer drawings – from single parts to small series. In addition, roller shutters, roller doors and roller grille systems for automotive engineering, interior fittings and roller shutter construction are produced from extruded aluminium profiles. In the field of automation, machine guarding doors (ProSerie, EasySerie) and material airlocks (ProMatic) are manufactured on the basis of aluminium roller doors, sheet steel and 6 mm thick polycarbonate, and are integrated into customer systems with the company's own ProControl door control. The offer includes design support from the idea to series launch, single-part and series production to drawing, prototype manufacturing as well as prefabricated modules for plug & play installation. Customers come from the automotive and body construction, construction, electronics, medical industry, mechanical engineering (OEM), interior fittings, shopfitting and marine equipment sectors.

Aluminium (extruded)
Extruded aluminium profiles form the roller door, roller door and roller grille profiles for automation, automotive engineering, interior fittings and roller shutter construction.
Steel (sheet, welded)
Sheet metal and welded steel are used for housings, claddings, frame structures and impact protection of guarding doors and material airlocks.
Polycarbonate
6 mm thick, impact-resistant polycarbonate serves as viewing window backing in machine guarding doors and as wall element of material airlocks.
