About Ernst Klimmer GmbH
Ernst Klimmer GmbH has been manufacturing stamped and formed parts in Burgau (Bavaria) since 1969 and is today organized as the Klimmer Group together with HMT Häseler Metall Technik GmbH in St. Georgen as well as the Burgau-based companies BSB Metallverformung and BWB Behälter-Werk. The portfolio includes deep-drawn parts (e.g. catalytic converter shells, funnels, electric motor housings), stamped, formed, sheet-metal and fine-blanked flanges, clamps for exhaust technology, cooling systems and turbochargers as well as welded and riveted assemblies for vehicle and battery components. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, high-strength and heat-resistant steels, aluminium and copper sheet in thicknesses from 0.8 to 16 mm. On approximately 26,200 m² of production space, around 300 employees use about 14,000 t of material annually and produce over 30 million flanges and clamps across roughly 1,000 products. Customers come from the automotive and electrical industries, commercial vehicle manufacturing and self-service systems; more than 341 delivery locations in 26 countries are supplied worldwide.
