Ernst Lenz Maschinenbau GmbH is a mechanical engineering company founded in 1939, headquartered in Sinn near Wetzlar (Hesse). 29 years after its founding, the company was one of the first to specialize in the development and production of PCB drilling and milling machines, including the DRB, DLG, RLG, ALC and SLG series. In addition to series machines, LENZ produces special machines and motion systems – from fixtures and axis systems to complex CNC machining machines – with machine frames made of granite, steel or aluminium. The value chain covers planning, 3D design, electrical engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and service at a single site, achieving a high level of vertical integration. In addition, contract manufacturing is offered for single-part and small-series production on CNC machining centres, turning, milling and grinding machines. LENZ machines and motion systems are used worldwide in, among others, testing technology, metrology, laser processing, and the optics, packaging, medical and semiconductor industries.
