Sealing manufacturer since 1930
Ernst Lingenberg GmbH is a sealing manufacturer founded in 1930, headquartered in Altena with production in Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde. The company produces non-metallic gaskets, sealing rings and discs, washers, punched and insulating parts as well as custom-made parts to customer drawings. Materials processed include aramid fibre materials (e.g. Donit, Frenzelit, Klinger, Reinz), rubber grades such as EPDM with drinking-water approval, Perbunan, neoprene and silicone, technical plastics such as polyamide, PTFE and PVC, as well as vulcanized fibre, hard paper and hard fabric; metallic materials and materials containing glass fibre are not processed. Production is carried out by die-cutting on hydraulic presses with manual or tong feed, cutting on a plotter/cutting table, and the processing of plastic films in roll format on a roll-cutting machine; since 2024, a dedicated department has been producing flange gaskets. Customers are OEMs and series manufacturers from the electrical, sanitary and fittings industries as well as fastening technology. Standard delivery times are 4–5 weeks; urgent batches of around 1,000 to 20,000 pieces are produced overnight by the 25-strong team.
