About Neumärker
Ernst Neumärker GmbH & Co. KG is a German family-owned company based in Hemer (Westphalia) that manufactures professional gastronomy equipment. The product range includes electric waffle irons, interchangeable plate systems such as the Thermocook®, grills, pizza ovens, deep fryers, potato ovens, ice cream display cases and equipment for snack and snack-food applications; in addition, the company offers its own-brand baking mixes and sauces. In business since 1894, Neumärker is one of the world's first manufacturers of electric waffle irons; the devices from its own manufactory are partly made by hand. Historically, production was based on its own iron foundry with press and punching shop, electroplating and painting facilities, which was shut down in 1969; today the value chain includes, among other things, the non-stick coating of baking plates made from bare cast metal. In addition, Neumärker operates its own service workshop with a spare parts warehouse and a B2B shop for direct sales. Customers include gastronomy, snack food, fairground operators, hotels, catering, cafés, bakeries and pizzerias.
