About Sitte Einrichtungshaus
Ernst Sitte Einrichtungshaus e.K. in Hof is a traditional furniture house whose origins date back to a joinery founded by Friedrich Kästner in 1857. The company offers high-quality designer furniture and furnishings and, in its own joinery, manufactures custom furniture made to customers' specifications as one-off pieces. Production is mainly in solid wood such as knotty oak, American and European walnut, wild cherry and red-core beech, partly in combination with steel. In addition, the house has an upholstery and decoration workshop as well as an extensive textiles department with decorative fabrics, curtains and carpets. The range of services includes interior design consultation, room planning, professional manufacture as well as delivery and assembly for private and commercial customers. Current design trends and classics are presented on four floors at Altstadt 32; a virtual tour complements the exhibition.
