Erwin Friedmann Kunststoffwerk GmbH manufactures technical molded parts made of polyurethane (PUR), including using high-pressure foaming machines. The material spectrum covers PUR rigid foam, PUR integral rigid foam, PUR compact thermoset as well as RRIM systems (RRIM, HS-RRIM, HT-RRIM) and PUR-SRIM. The value chain includes, in addition to molded part production, surface finishing — from priming through RAL and custom colors to smooth, textured and conductive paint for electromagnetic shielding — as well as the assembly of complete system units including supply and procurement management. From 1973, GRP parts such as spoilers and bumpers were produced, and since 1981 specifically automotive parts made of PUR-RIM. A further production area comprises insulating foam stainless steel parts. The company, founded in 1954 and headquartered in Offenburg, has operated the Freitec GmbH as Plant 2 in Rudersberg since 01.03.2025.
