Grinding technology and filtration from a single source
The JUNKER Group, headquartered in Nordrach (Black Forest), develops, produces and distributes high-precision grinding machines for metalworking as well as filtration systems of the LTA brand for industrial air purification. The company was founded in 1962 by Erwin Junker and, according to its own statements, is considered the world market leader in CBN grinding; over 80 patents document its development strength, including the QUICKPOINT peel-grinding technology invented in 1984. The machines cover processes such as cylindrical/non-circular, internal cylindrical, longitudinal, plunge, profile, face and thread grinding, and machine workpieces ranging from crankshafts and camshafts to rolling bearings and thread taps through to heavy wind-turbine gear shafts up to 5,000 mm in length and 5,000 kg. In addition to machines, JUNKER offers automation with gantry loaders, its own grinding spindles, software and digital services as well as worldwide 24/7 service. Customers come from the automotive and tool industries, aerospace, wind power and robotics; users include, for example, Saarstahl.
