About the EMCO Group

Erwin Müller GmbH, headquartered in Lingen (Ems), is the parent company of the EMCO Group, a family-run group of companies founded in 1945. Under the brands EMCO Bad, EMCO Bau and Novus Dahle, the group develops and produces entrance matting and clean-off systems, carpet mats, swimming pool grating, bathroom accessories, mirrors and interiors as well as office technology such as staplers, hole punches, tackers and paper cutters. Production takes place at five manufacturing sites in Germany (Lingen, Gräfenhainichen), China (Chuzhou), France (Dampierre) and the Czech Republic, complemented by its own research and development center at Plant I in Lingen with a test bench for electromagnetic compatibility. Materials include aluminium, which is used among other things for entrance matting systems. According to the company, the products are sold in more than 100 countries; over 1,300 employees at 17 branches and 5 production sites contribute to the business.

Quality and Certification

Quality assurance is based on a quality management system certified to ISO 9001 with inspection plans, incoming goods inspections (SAP inspection lots), in-process and final inspections, FMEA, Q notifications in SAP and 8D reports in the event of complaints. An internal SHEQ department accompanies all production processes; supplier quality is ensured through supplier audits and rating systems.
