Innovative Electronics Partner for Industry

Since 1984, esd electronics has been developing and manufacturing hardware and software for industrial automation technology with a focus on custom solutions. The product portfolio includes CAN and CAN FD interfaces for USB, PCI, PCIe, M.2 and other form factors, EtherCAT gateways and SubDevice hardware, gateways and bridges to PROFIBUS-DP, PROFINET and Ethernet, I/O modules for CANopen and EtherCAT, network technology, as well as CPU boards and plug-in card systems for VMEbus, CompactPCI and PMC/XMC. In addition to standard products, the company develops custom boards and systems from requirements analysis through to production maturity, including drivers, bootloaders, Board Support Packages and software stacks for real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, RTX64 and OS-9. Series production is carried out with OEM partners; final functional testing is performed in-house. Customers come primarily from automotive, mechanical engineering, medical technology, aerospace, stage technology and research institutions such as CERN. Products are distributed worldwide, directly and via distributors; the headquarters with around 60 employees is located in Hanover, plus a subsidiary in Greenfield, Massachusetts (USA).
