ESD-Protect GmbH is a system house for complete protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) in industrial manufacturing. The family-run company, founded in 2001 by Michael Böhm and headquartered in Großmaischeid (Rhineland-Palatinate), plans and equips electrostatic protected areas (EPAs) in compliance with DIN EN IEC 61340-5-1 – from consulting and 3D planning through to certification. The portfolio includes in-house developed and produced ESD test equipment such as the EPA-Resist Personnel Tester and the MultiGround Earthing Monitoring Monitor, the Inventix inventory management software, individual ESD packaging concepts, ESD flooring concepts including installation service and floor measurements, as well as ESD plastics technology with injection moulding via partners. The offering is complemented by the ESD Academy with training courses, audits and certification, calibration services for ESD measuring devices, installation teams for EPA zones and a digital multimedia showroom. Customers come among others from automotive, electronics manufacturing (EMS), medical technology, aerospace, mechanical and plant engineering as well as repair services.
