About esnatec
esnatec is a supplier specialized in measurement technology for liquids, based in Oldenburg. The company supplies process viscometers based on the vibration measurement principle (MIVI, INVI, PIVI) for inline, online and at-line use, as well as rotational viscometers, rheometers, geltimers and texture analyzers for the laboratory. The sensors continuously measure viscosity, density and temperature under process conditions of up to 200 °C (optionally 300 °C) and up to 60 bar (up to 1,400 bar on request). Wetted parts are made of stainless steel 1.4404 (316L), 316 Ti, Hastelloy or titanium depending on the application; coatings with PTFE or DLC are possible. For food and pharmaceutical applications, hygienic versions with EHEDG certification are available. The portfolio includes consulting and application design, installation in pipelines, tanks or bypass, maintenance service, spare parts and calibration to DIN EN ISO 17025 via an accredited partner. Fields of application include, among others, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, paper as well as the paint and coatings industry.

Materials and Measurement Methods
Stainless steel 1.4404 (316L)
Standard material of the wetted sensor parts for chemically demanding applications.
Stainless steel 316 Ti
Corrosion-resistant version, e.g. for black liquor in pulp production.
Hastelloy
Optional for highly corrosive media.
Titanium
Optional for aggressive process media.
PTFE coating
Coating of the measuring rod to reduce adhesion.
DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon)
Hard-material coating of the measuring rod for low-wear measurement.
