About ETA Kunststofftechnologie
ETA Kunststofftechnologie GmbH was founded in 1990 in Troisdorf by Maik Eubel, Peter Fischer and Johannes Wortberg with the goal of further advancing plasticizing technology through higher-performance screw/barrel systems and developing novel extrusion tools. The company manufactures hose heads, pipe and small-diameter pipe tools, PE-RT 5-layer pipe extrusion tools, coating and blown film tools, internal cooling systems, sheet dies as well as custom spiral mandrel distributors and barrier mixing screws for single-screw extruders and injection molding machines. The process engineering design is performed application-specifically to customer specification, supported by proprietary material and test databases, simulation software and a pilot plant extruder for extrusion trials. In addition to new systems, ETA offers retrofits, plasticizing units with smooth-bore or grooved-feed barrels, extruders for special applications such as high-temperature extruders, vented and high-speed extruders, and electromechanical centering systems that can be retrofitted to existing tools. All thermoplastics except PVC-U are processed, including recyclates, high-temperature thermoplastics and special materials. More than 1000 custom spiral mandrel distributors and 800 barrier screws have been delivered; ETA equipment is in operation on all continents.
