About eta-systems
eta-systems GmbH, based in Aarau, develops and produces LED luminaires, the majority of which are manufactured in Switzerland. Since no sustainably recyclable LED luminaires were available on the market, the company developed its own freely scalable concept: repairable luminaires with single-type, marked plastic, a buy-back programme and recycling of the individual components. The product range includes 27-mm luminaires that fit into classic GU5.3 recessed sockets, 35-mm luminaires up to 25 watts with heat sink, and 15-mm LED strips that can be cut in grids and achieve up to 20 watts per running metre in the aluminium profile. In addition, eta-systems supplies customised power supplies, controllers and converters, including for battery operation in combination with photovoltaic cells. Luminaires can be customised to existing installations and assembled to order; lighting solutions achieve up to 180 lumens/watt. One development example is the Cristallina luminaire created together with faircustomer.ch.
