ETABO Energietechnik und Anlagenservice GmbH, headquartered in Bochum, is a service provider for plant construction and plant services in the process and energy industries. Its range of services includes piping construction, boiler service, air, flue-gas and environmental technology (LRU), flue-gas damper technology, valve refurbishment, apparatus, vessel and heat exchanger construction, steel construction, EMSR/electrical installations as well as the engineering and construction of complete electrode boiler plants as general contractor. In the on-site depot business, ETABO performs framework contract work such as maintenance, shutdowns/overhauls, recurring inspections and tank work directly at the customer's site. Manufacturing and welding include, among other things, flue-gas control, isolation and safety dampers (materials S235JR, 16Mo3) as well as piping and steel structures using processes 111, 135 and 141 up to execution class EXC3. Customers include refineries, tank farms, energy suppliers, the chemical and paper industries as well as ironworks and steel mills. In addition to seven locations in Germany, the subsidiary Veltec NV in Kapellen (Belgium) is part of the company.
