etg-elektronik GmbH is a development service provider and manufacturing partner headquartered in Weiterstadt near Darmstadt. The company supports projects from individual consulting through design as well as process and tool development to series production. Its core competence lies in CNC machining with universal turning, turn-mill centers, sliding-headstock lathe turning, and 3-/5-axis milling, realizing both series and one-off production. For the semiconductor industry, components with high cleanliness requirements (HIO, contamination-free machining) are manufactured; an ISO-7 cleanroom with ESD workstations, wet-chemical cleaning and packaging, as well as test bench construction, helium leak testing, permeation tests, and coordinate metrology in the cleanroom complement the value chain. Further fields are medical technology mechatronics, including an in-house orthodontic mini-implant system, as well as mechanical engineering and automotive. Customers include companies from the semiconductor and dental industries; a disinfection system for shopping cart handles is in trial operation at Rewe in Heidelberg.

Quality and Metrology
Cleanliness controls, UV inspections, and RGA analyses are an integral part of quality management. A coordinate measuring machine in the ISO-7 cleanroom enables measurement of cleaned parts as well as testing of assembly processes for positional repeatability and particle emission.
