About us
eucrea KONTAKTE Sp. z o.o. was founded in 2008 in Lubin (Poland) and specializes in the manufacture of custom thermally cracked contact pins. Thermal cracking is a separation process assisted by a current pulse that cuts wire burr-free and creates a convex pin tip — as a result, insertion forces and wear are reduced compared with stamped contacts. The pins are produced from various metal alloys in round wire (0.49–2.0 mm) and square wire (0.6–1.1 mm) in lengths from 5 to 90 mm, including wing and knurl embossing, special embossing and bending to customer specifications. In addition, the approximately 30 employees offer manual and semi-automated assembly of sub-assemblies, surface finishing via partners, and EMS services from material purchasing through final device assembly, packaging and shipping. The products go into the electrical industry, automotive electronics, telecommunications, lightning protection, metrology and analytical technology, as well as the aerospace, entertainment and household appliance industries. As a family-owned company with a German sales office in Pforzheim, eucrea combines the advantages of its Polish location with German quality awareness; the company is certified to PN-EN ISO 9001:2015.
