Eugen Lägler GmbH is a family-owned mechanical engineering company founded in 1956 and headquartered in Güglingen-Frauenzimmern (Baden-Württemberg). The company develops and manufactures parquet sanding machines for surface sanding, fine sanding as well as edge and corner sanding, including the models HUMMEL®, SUPERHUMMEL, ELF, PROFIT, TRIO, SINGLE, FLIP®, ELAN and UNICO, plus matching sanding and milling tools, spare parts, accessories and abrasives. The in-house production share is around 80%: machine parts are cast in the company's own foundry, machined with state-of-the-art CNC technology, the sanding drums are profiled and finely balanced, the housings are powder-coated and the machines are assembled in final assembly. Applications include the treatment of wood floors, screed, OSB and chipboard. With more than 100 employees at locations in Germany and the USA as well as sales and service partners on five continents, the machines are in use in over 120 countries. Production takes place exclusively at the Güglingen-Frauenzimmern site.

In-house cast machine parts
Many machine parts are cast in the company's own foundry.
CNC machining (steel/metal)
State-of-the-art CNC machining technology ensures the precision of the coordinated machine components.
Aluminium (milling plate TRIO)
The milling plate for the triple-disc sanding machine TRIO is made of aluminium and fitted with carbide indexable inserts.
Stainless steel (base plate)
The base plate of the DIAMANT sanding plate is made of stainless steel and can be retrofitted for various tool setups.
ABS plastic (Systainer)
Transport cases for milling tools are made of impact-resistant ABS plastic.
Powder coating
Machine housings receive durable and resistant powder coatings in the company's own facility.
Carbide and diamond tools
Milling tools use carbide indexable inserts; sanding plates are fitted with diamond or PKD segments.
