About Eugen Rold GmbH

Eugen Rold GmbH is a tool and mould making company based in Winden (Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district) that has been manufacturing highly precise injection moulds as well as cutting and forming tools since 1969. In mould making, the company implements projects with hot runner technology, stack mould technology as well as multi-colour and multi-component technology. In cutting tool making, tools for film processing are manufactured, among other things. Production takes place on CNC milling machines, by wire EDM and with HSC technology (High-Speed Cutting), supported by 3D CAD/CAM design. With its own technical centre featuring eight injection moulding machines, Eugen Rold GmbH offers a closed process chain of design, manufacturing, sampling and testing. Around 30 % of products are exported, to all parts of the world. On approx. 3,000 sqm of operating space, climate-controlled in accuracy-relevant areas, the family-owned company employs 45 people, including four apprentices. Customers come mainly from the automotive industry, plastics and film processing, and historically from the watchmaking industry.
