About Eurobraider
Eurobraider B.V., based in Sittard (Netherlands), specializes in the serial production of overbraided preforms. In overbraiding, the braided band is applied directly onto a mandrel that defines the inner geometry of the desired component; by repeatedly passing through the braiding point, multi-layer wall structures with defined areal weight density are produced. High-performance fibers such as glass, aramid, carbon and thermoplastics are processed. Production takes place on computer-controlled, automated braiding machines designed by the sister company Eurocarbon B.V.; where required, special braiding machines and additional equipment are also built in-house. The tri-axial braiding technology allows the integration of 0° UD yarns with bias/UD ratios from 100/0 to 10/90; the preforms are suitable for RTM injection with fiber volume contents up to 55%. The company also offers complete preform development, turn-key solutions including know-how transfer, as well as lightweight-core and lost-core technology for hollow products.
