About Euroglas
Euroglas is the float glass group of the Swiss Glas Trösch Holding AG and produces float glass using the float process at four of its own plants in Haldensleben and Osterweddingen (Germany), Hombourg (France) and Ujazd (Poland). The product range comprises base glass (EUROFLOAT), extra-white low-iron glass (EUROWHITE NG), laminated safety glass (EUROLAMEX) with PVB interlayers as well as vacuum-coated thermal and solar protection glass (SILVERSTAR), including CO₂-reduced float glass across the entire range. Products are manufactured in thicknesses of 2 to 12 mm and ribbon dimensions of 6000 × 3210 mm as well as oversize formats up to 9000 × 3210 mm; cuts to customer specifications are possible. Customers include processing companies of the Glas Trösch Group and partner companies from the construction sector, laboratory and medical technology as well as the automotive, rail vehicle and aviation industries. The Glas Trösch Group employs around 6,000 staff at more than 70 locations in 16 countries and has been active as a family business in the material glass since 1905.

Materials & Processes
EUROFLOAT (soda-lime silicate glass)
Base glass with clear transparency, acid- and alkali-resistant, 100 % recyclable, in thicknesses 3–12 mm.
EUROWHITE NG (extra-white float glass)
Highly transparent, colour-neutral glass with reduced iron oxide content for architecture and glass design.
EUROLAMEX (laminated safety glass, VSG)
VSG made of float glass and PVB film, manufactured in an autoclave, for safety, sound and fall protection requirements.
Polyvinyl butyral film
Tough-elastic interlayer that binds glass shards in case of breakage; also available with sound insulation film (EUROLAMEX S PHON).
Coated solar protection glass
Vacuum-coated glasses (SELEKT 70, COMBI Neutral 50/60) with reduced exterior reflection, also as temperable version T.
Argon (insulating glass filling gas)
Filling gas for thermal, sound and solar protection insulating glass units.
