About European Machinery Services
European Machinery Services (EMS) is a US company based in Gastonia, North Carolina, that has provided spare parts support for European CNC and woodworking machines since the 1990s and was re-established in its current form in 2019. EMS is the exclusive North American sales partner of Hymmen GmbH for surface technology and panel processing, including industrial inkjet printing machines (DLE - digital lacquer embossing), double belt presses, multi-daylight presses, hydraulic presses and liquid coating lines. Further partner brands are Fletcher Machine (double-end tenoners, edgebanders), GMN (precision ball bearings), Comat (superfiltration for cutting oil), Becker and Busch (vacuum pumps), FANUC (robotics and automation), IGUS, JUMO and Lenze. In addition to machine sales, EMS distributes OEM spare parts (hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, bearings, sensors), provides technical field service for press systems, control upgrades, on-site welding services for heating and cooling plates (MIG/TIG), and reconditioned used machines with warranty. Customers come from the woodworking, metalworking, automotive, aerospace and energy sectors; components are imported weekly by air freight from the EU.
