About EuroSpike
EuroSpike GmbH was founded in 2004 as a joint venture between Diehl Defence, Rheinmetall Electronics and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and supports European countries in the procurement of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM). The company looks after the Spike missile family in Europe – from Spike SR via Spike LR2 and ER2 to Spike NLOS with ranges between 2 and 50 km. Production of the Spike systems is located in Germany; EuroSpike handles procurement, maintenance, training and the weapon system integration into military vehicles, e.g. the integration of MELLS launchers into the PUMA infantry fighting vehicle. Customers include the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) as well as, via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), other NATO states in Europe. In 2023, production capacity in Germany was quadrupled; in 2024 EuroSpike received the largest order in the company's history in connection with the modernisation of the Bundeswehr's anti-tank capabilities, with a volume of several hundred million euros. The headquarters is located in Röthenbach an der Pegnitz in Bavaria.
