About EVA Handels GmbH

EVA Handels GmbH, headquartered in Ludersdorf-Wilfersdorf in Styria, is Austria's largest exporter of fresh produce, especially table apples. Founded in 1993 as an association of eight Styrian apple marketers, the company operates as a central platform and consolidates the export activities of its shareholders OPST (Obst Partner Steiermark GmbH) and EOS (Erzeugergemeinschaft Obst Steiermark GmbH) as well as associated packing houses. Depending on the course of the vegetation period, 40,000 to 50,000 tonnes of table apples are exported annually; in the record year 2014 the figure was 70,000 tonnes. Around 100 customers in more than 30 countries in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East are supplied. In addition to export marketing, EVA provides services such as packaging organisation, goods disposition, transport handling, export customs clearance, bulk bin management, international marketing as well as invoicing and accounting. The EVA and Prime brands are established in the European premium segment.
