About Evac Group
Evac Group, headquartered in Espoo, Finland, develops and delivers integrated systems for sustainable water and waste management: vacuum toilets and vacuum collection systems, MBR and MBBR wastewater treatment, wet and dry waste treatment (including HydroTreat for biochar production, compactors, shredders), reverse osmosis drinking water treatment as well as Cathelco systems for ultrasonic antifouling (USP DragGone), MGPS and ICCP corrosion protection. The HEM brand delivers desalination systems for superyachts, including the new HEM-Flow series with frames made of 304L stainless steel. In addition to system design and engineering, the portfolio includes lifecycle services: installation, commissioning, maintenance, retrofit and spare parts. Founded in 1979, the company employs around 540 staff in 13 countries with revenue of approx. EUR 190 million and is owned by Altor Equity Partners. In Germany, Evac is represented by Evac Germany GmbH in Hemmoor as well as a branch office in Hamburg; a research centre in Tuusula (over 1,000 m² of test space) and an R&D site in Chesterfield, UK, secure technological development. Reference customers include TUI Cruises, Ponant, Carnival and Royal Caribbean Group.
