About EveChem

EveChem GmbH is an Australian-financed company based in Grünwald near Munich, specialising in the exploration and development of lithium-rich brine deposits in Germany. The interdisciplinary team of geologists, chemists and engineers pursues the goal of securing the supply of critical raw materials for the green energy transition. The focus is on Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE): lithium-bearing brine is pumped through a reusable, selective medium that selectively binds lithium before the brine is reinjected underground. EveChem was awarded 800 km² of exploration licences in two areas of Lower Saxony (Ehra and Clenze), where earlier oil and gas exploration points to lithium-rich brine. The company is currently conducting desktop analyses to identify priority targets for detailed evaluation and to build a long-term, strategic lithium supply for European battery production.

Raw Materials & Processes

DLE

Direct Lithium Extraction

Lithium is extracted from naturally occurring lithium-rich brine using a reusable selective sorbent or ion exchange resin; the brine is then reinjected underground.

Li-Brine
