EVOCHEM Advanced Materials GmbH, based in Offenbach am Main, is a supplier of materials for the thin-film industry. The portfolio comprises sputter targets made of metals, oxides, alloys and ceramics, more than 60 evaporation materials, PVD consumables such as crucible inserts, evaporation boats and filaments, quartz crystals, evaporation coils as well as precious metal products and a precious metal recycling offering. Sputter targets are produced powder-metallurgically (pressing, sintering, hot pressing) or melt-metallurgically in vacuum; bonding is carried out with indium or Nano-Bond onto backings made of copper, stainless steel or molybdenum. Purity, density, composition and dimensions are checked at all production stages, supplemented by analyses from independent laboratories. Customers come from ophthalmics, precision optics, microelectronics, the semiconductor industry and large-area coating; a second product segment supplies pure and ultra-pure metals (up to 7N) for research and development.

All raw materials are analysed before and during production; targets are checked at all production stages for composition, purity, density, shape and dimensions. Batch analyses are carried out internally as well as by independent laboratories (including SGS, CTI); quality tests are run on company-owned coating machines.
