About EVS Hydrogen
EVS Hydrogen GmbH, based in Untergriesbach in the district of Passau (Lower Bavaria), develops new engine technology and engine control systems as an interdisciplinary mechanical engineering team. The core product is a multifuel combustion engine with a rotating engine principle (not a reciprocating piston principle) for emission-free hydrogen combustion, which, thanks to its multifuel capability, can be operated flexibly with hydrogen, methane, ethanol, methanol, gasoline, kerosene and other energy carriers. The engines are offered with power outputs of 10 to 75 kW in a compact design and are used in motorized construction machinery, off-road applications, combined heat and power units, and as range extenders in electric vehicle manufacturing. In addition to mechanical design, the company offers hardware and software development, application support with test bench services, and small-series production of electronic assemblies. Services include planning, integration and manufacturing, also in small series; an engine configurator enables customers to assemble their own configurations.
