About EVUM Motors
Evum Motors GmbH is a German manufacturer of compact electric utility vehicles and a spin-off of a research project at the Technical University of Munich. The company was founded by Sascha Koberstaedt and Martin Šoltés and brought the versatile, robust EVUM aCar with all-wheel and electric drive to market in June 2020; since the end of 2020 the vehicle has been built in series production. The vehicle is aimed at customers in agriculture and forestry, among trade businesses, in industry/intralogistics and at municipalities. Production uses digitalized assembly: around 200 screws per vehicle are documented with Bluetooth-capable electronic torque/torque-angle wrenches. From 2026, relocation of production of the EVUM 4x4 to the Czech Republic has been announced, where the spare parts distribution of Evum Motors s.r.o. is also based at the Šenov u Nového Jičína site.

Quality assurance is performed with 24 Bluetooth-capable GARANT electronic torque/torque-angle wrenches from the Hoffmann Group Connected Tools (HCT); measurement data is transmitted wirelessly and stored as a CSV file in a database. Integration into a computer-aided quality management system (CAQ) is planned.
