About EWIA

EWIA Green Investments GmbH was founded in Munich in 2020 by entrepreneurs and managers with an affinity for Africa and impact investing. The company provides small and medium-sized enterprises, villages and mobile mast operators with access to clean, stable and cost-effective solar power. The range of services includes the Solar-as-a-Service model for commercial and industrial customers (C&I) – from demand analysis through planning, financing and construction to operation, maintenance and handover of the system – as well as the electrification of entire village communities via mini-grids and the PV equipping of mobile masts and traffic monitoring systems including battery storage integration. Via the EWIA Finance platform operated since 2023 (commercially operated by CONDA), private and institutional investors gain access to impact investments; financing is provided with risk diversification through German special-purpose entities such as EWIA Impact I UG. Following the acquisition of SunErgy in April 2025, the group employs 76 staff and is active with operating companies in Ghana (Accra), Nigeria (Abuja) and Cameroon (Ombe); headquarters are in Munich.
