EWS GmbH Pulverbeschichtung is an owner-managed contract coater based in Vlotho-Exter (East Westphalia, near Bielefeld). The company powder-coats conductive materials such as aluminium, steel, stainless steel, zinc, die-cast alloys and plastics in all RAL and special colours for indoor and outdoor applications. Its value-added services include spray pre-treatment (iron phosphating or hexavalent-chromium-free green chromating according to DIN 50939), blasting work such as sandblasting and sweeping, oven curing, and further processing such as screen and pad printing, thread re-cutting and assembly. Customers come, among others, from die casting, automotive supply, mechanical engineering, medical technology, electrical engineering, the furniture industry, construction and rail vehicle manufacturing, for which DB approval according to DBS 918 340 is held. Around 50 employees work on the approximately 14,000 m² site with about 4,500 m² of production and storage space; customers are served in NRW, Lower Saxony and throughout Germany.

Electrostatic application of powder paint and curing at up to 200 °C for corrosion-protected, durable surfaces in all RAL and special colours.
Hexavalent-chromium-free green chromating (DIN 50939)
RoHS- and REACH-compliant pre-treatment for aluminium and aluminium die castings with high corrosion protection and optimal adhesion for powder paints.
Iron phosphating
Chemical pre-treatment of steel and iron to improve the adhesion of the subsequent coating.
Sandblasting
Removes rust, contaminants and old coatings and creates a clean surface.
Sweeping
Gentle blasting technique for sensitive materials with optimal adhesion of the powder paint.
Screen printing and pad printing
Printing of coated parts with logos, serial numbers or designs.
Assembly and mechanical finishing
Thread re-cutting, application of foam seals via a partner company, and assembly into ready-to-install components.
