Exacom develops, designs and manufactures X-ray solutions specifically for battery cells. The company offers in-house developed metrology components for 100% inline inspection in 2D and 3D, including inline CT with inspection times of under four seconds. The inspection systems cover various cell formats: coin cells (tray-based, 60 PPM), stacked cells (100% 3D stack inspection), cylindrical cells (track solution up to 175 PPM) and prismatic cells (2D and 3D inspection including quality control of the assembled cell). In addition to classical image processing, AI-supported analysis methods are used that leverage production data for complex structures and ensure result traceability.
