About Excelson
Excelson SA was founded in 2020 by Jean-Marc Dietrich together with friends after JMC Lutherie SA discontinued its soundboard activities. The company continues the manufacture of soundboards made from resonance spruce (Épicéa de résonance) as Swiss-made products with local craftsmanship. Production is carried out with the involvement of local craft businesses, from the wood to the finished product. The soundboards can be personalized, for example with artwork or photos on the surface. The offering includes technical support, needs assessment, rental, customizing as well as showroom visits in Düdingen. Target audiences are audio engineering professionals, music studios and music lovers; a reference installation is located at the Cyclo Café in Fribourg. The headquarters are located in Rossens in the canton of Fribourg.
