About Eximprod

Eximprod Engineering SA (Eximprod Grup) is a Romanian corporate group founded in 1994 with more than 400 employees that manufactures and supplies electrical equipment and solutions for the energy sector. The portfolio covers products for voltage levels from 0.4 to 400 kV, including composite insulators—manufactured at the Ceptura plant as the first Romanian manufacturer of this type up to 400 kV—fuse links as well as switchgear cabinets, distribution panels and enclosures in housings made of glass-fiber-reinforced polyester/polycarbonate, ABS and polycarbonate. In addition to production at four manufacturing facilities, the company offers electrical design and consulting, distribution automation (ADMS), smart grid solutions, software development, IoT and smart metering, as well as planning, construction, operation and maintenance of wind and solar parks. Eximprod products are installed on all continents, with composite insulators and fuse links in particular being exported. The headquarters is located in Buzău; further offices exist in Bucharest, Bacău, Cluj-Napoca and Iași, plus a German office in Grünwald near Munich. Customer industries include power transmission and distribution, electrified railways, renewable energies and IoT/edge computing.
