About Exista AG
Exista AG, based in Mönchaltorf (Canton of Zurich), is a technology partner specialized in power supplies and power electronics. The company develops and produces AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters and DC/AC inverters – as standard products, modified variants and custom solutions including hardware and software development, product design and mechanical integration. In its own power laboratory in Switzerland, function tests, precision measurements, thermal tests, design verifications and failure analyses are carried out; around 90 % of validation tests are performed independently of manufacturers in the tech laboratory. Prototypes are created using 3D printing and system assembly, and the transfer to series production includes test concepts and test bench development. The industry focuses are rail/mobility, infrastructure, medtech, household appliances as well as industry, robotics and automation. With the Fabrimex brand (founded 1947), acquired in 2023, Exista offers an expanded standard portfolio. The offering also includes project management, supply chain and obsolescence management as well as repair and maintenance.

Technologies & Fields of Work
AC/DC power supplies
Mains power supplies as standard, modified or custom solutions for industry, medtech, infrastructure and household appliances.
DC/DC converters and regulators
Converters with wide input voltage ranges, e.g. for railway onboard networks up to 154 VDC (RIA 12).
DC/AC inverters
Inverters for converting onboard voltages such as 24–110 VDC into stable 230 VAC, among other things for train interiors, roofs and underfloor applications.
Customer/application development
Custom power supplies including hardware and software development, mechanical integration and potting processes.
Power laboratory / measurement technology
Own test bench for function tests, precision measurements, thermal tests and failure analyses.
3D printing
Additive manufacturing of professional prototypes made of plastic and system assembly from concept to implementation.
Li-ion and lead batteries
Used in power supplies with buffer or UPS function for building automation and access systems.
