About EXMAR
EXMAR GmbH is a brand of the Swiss SERTO Group and has been a specialist in stainless steel 1.4571 pipe connection technology since 1976. The product range includes compression and clamp ring fittings according to DIN 2353 / ISO 8434-1, ball valves, valves, hose fittings and pipe clamps in virtually all sizes; the standard range is held in stock. Through its Project Engineering Team, the company develops and produces customised system solutions, from special-purpose manufacturing and CNC-bent tubes (up to 60 mm diameter, 6 m working radius) to ready-to-install assemblies and kits – more than 150,000 metres of metal tubing are assembled annually. Production is partially carried out in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom; custom test equipment covers helium leak testing, bending fatigue strength, flow rate, vibration and burst pressure. The components are approved by international classification societies such as DNV, ABS, BV, CCS, Lloyd's Register and RINA. Customers come from the railway industry, fire protection and extinguishing technology, mechanical and plant engineering, shipbuilding and on-/offshore, hydrogen and fuel cell technology, metering and coating technology, the paper industry and environmental technology. The group employs 300 staff at seven locations in Europe and Asia; in Germany there are sites in Bad Nauheim (EXMAR GmbH) and Kassel (SERTO GmbH).
