About ExOne
ExOne is a manufacturer of industrial 3D printing systems based on the binder jetting process, headquartered in Augsburg. The company produces printing systems for sand casting (S-Max Pro, VX4000, S-Print Pro, VX1000), investment casting (VX1000 PMMA), polymer sintering (VX1000 HSS) as well as individual systems tailored to specific production requirements (Tailored Systems). In the on-demand service center, prototypes, small series, 3D-printed sand molds and cores, and PMMA models for investment casting are produced from CAD data; printing is done in quartz sand with furan or phenol binders (PDB), in carbo-ceramic medium, in PMMA, plastics and technical ceramics. Part volumes range up to 1.5 m³ at the site and up to 8 m³ in the large-format S-9000 system; dimensional accuracy is ±0.5 mm. The systems are used in foundries as well as in automotive, aerospace and shipbuilding production; customers include BMW, Daimler, Hyundai, KSB Limited and Federal Bronze. In addition to machine engineering and printing services, ExOne offers maintenance, spare parts, remote maintenance, training through the ExOne Academy and process integration; service locations exist in Germany, North America and Asia.
